Here is my newborn blog, three months old: A Christmas Place. She will have a lot of nice things to say to the listening world when she's ready. Lots of words of grace. She'll be one of the special ones. A Christmas Place might even evoke the shifting shimmer of christmas tree lights in the soul of someone looking in—how lovely that would be! But for now, my words are for my family, because all of my time belongs to them, too. It's a season. I wouldn't call it a Christmas season, unless you count burning the candle at both ends to bring on the warm glow of holiday cheer! But... maybe I could put little bits of joy into their moments, to remind them that the holiday isn't really very far off. It's almost Easter, and you can't have Easter without Christmas, after all. Pray for me for grace, both to receive and to give, in Jesus' name.
